Air Security regulations
Security regulations for unsecured shipments/unknown shipper:
- If the box is heavier than 1000 kg, and / or greater than a Euro pallet (120x80x160).
- If there for some reason is not possible to define the material in the xray machine.
- If there are other reasons why the freight should not be x-rayed.
SHIPMENT will be checked in an alternative way by “sniffing”, manual or visual search:
Charges will be at cost. NOK 1160, 00
Adapted for “sniffing”- either as a square cut, or a circular shape (10X15 CM). The square must be sealed with blank tape or other material before delivered to acceptance controll. The square must be marked.
Pallet with loose cargo:
Banded pallets with plastic or other material should be airtight.
Also in the bottom of the pallet.
Cargo may be asked to be returned back to shipper for repacking.
Before acceptance control, will approve the cargo again for a new control.
All above in the agreement of National Aviation rules/NASP.
Forwarding terms & conditions
Member of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders. All services rendered are subject to the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2015). Under these conditions our liability for loss of, deterioration of or damage to goods is limited to SDR 8.33 per kg and our liability for delay is limited to the amount of the freight. For all other services, liability will not exceed SDR 100.000 per order. The freight forwarder insurance does not cover goods under storage. The freight forwarder are statute-barred after one year (clause 27) and that the lien on goods (clause 14) applies to both current and previous claims. Claims for freight etc. must be honoured regardless of the terms of delivery under the contract of sale or freight agreement (clause 11).

All services rendered are subject to the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2015). As contracting party cf. § 3B the conditions limits our liability for loss of, deterioration of, or damage to goods to SDR 8.33 per kilo and for delay to the amount of the freight, and for all other loss to SDR 100,000 in respect of each assignment (§ 21). As intermediary cf. § 3C our liability is limited to SDR 50,000 in respect of each assignment and totally in the event of any one occurrence to SDR 500,000 (§ 24). For storage goods are not covered by our insurance, and the total liability is limited to SDR 500,000 for damage occurring in the same occasion (§ 25). Special attention is directed to the network clause (§ 2); claims against us are statute-barred after 1 year (§ 28); and the lien on goods (§ 14) applies to both current and previous claims.

The Dutch Forwarding Conditions/Dutch Warehousing Conditions in the latest version deposited by FENEX at the Registry of the Districts Court at Amsterdam/Rotterdam shall apply, of which a copy will be sent to you upon your first request.

• To storage: the Dutch Warehousing Conditions (deposited by the FENEX), including the law and arbitration clause.
